End of Life Doula Services and Packages
An initial 30 minute telephone consultation is available at no charge. Also, we will meet you at a location of your choice to discuss what services we provide, as well as to assess your specific needs. Skype, Zoom or Facetime options also available.
End of Life Doulas guide and support individuals and their families through all three stages of the dying process:
BEFORE – upon notice of terminal diagnosis or life-limiting illness
DURING – active dying and death
AFTER – grief support for family
We offer a sliding scale fee schedule. Our vigil services are by donation.

GREEN MOUNTAIN DOULA PACKAGE
This comprehensive package of services covers from beginning to end. It is a thoughtful way for family members to support a loved one from afar, or for you to be assured your family will be supported throughout the dying process:
Suggested breakdown includes:
- One-hour initial meeting
- Two hours of document guidance, vigil planning, including funeral preferences, disposition choices and end of life financial details
- Up to six hours of vigil support
- Follow-up grief support after death
Fees vary based on your needs.
YOUR CUSTOM PATH
Our Doulas can help you create a package that meets your needs. We can provide ideas and support for special ways to preserve other moments in tangible forms for your family.
Ongoing support including:
- Guidance with advance directive and other end-of-life documentation
- Advocacy for patient wishes at the end of life
- Family education and support
- Formulation of a vigil plan
- Legacy planning and projects
- A compassionate presence during the last weeks and days of life
HAVE THE CONVERSATION
End of Life Doulas aren’t only for the actively dying. There is more to preparation for death besides having your will, advance directives and organ donation forms completed. As a gift to yourself and your loved ones, we can help you have in-depth conversations about what you would like to happen in the event of a sudden death, or a serious diagnosis.

Our Doulas live in various locations in Vermont and travel within 15 miles of their home is included in the fees.
